What we do
Meet The Founder
Janelle Battle is a relationship-centered consultant and equity strategist committed to helping organizations build cultures rooted in harmony, unity, sustainable growth, and Godly love. Through Unity & Harmony Consulting, she collaborates with leaders to design thoughtful systems, strengthen organizational culture, and implement people-centered strategies that foster accountability, trust, and belonging.
Janelle has partnered with a myriad of organizations ranging from non-profits, churches, higher education, and corporations. Drawing from her background in human resources, project management, and cultural inclusion — fused with a strong Christian foundation — Janelle approaches consulting as both strategic work and soul work. She believes healthy systems begin with healthy leadership, and that true unity requires intentional structure, courageous conversations, and values-driven action. Known for her warmth, discernment, and collaborative leadership style, Janelle helps teams move from vision to execution with clarity and confidence. She equips organizations to align their mission with measurable outcomes while ensuring people feel seen, supported, and empowered to lead with purpose.
Janelle is also the author of "When Words Fail, He Still Hears" a 21-day devotional navigating women's health and faith. Inspired by Janelle’s personal journey with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)—a condition affecting up to 8% of women—this devotional extends hope to all who walk through the realities of women’s health. It explores a range of experiences including PMDD, PMS, PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, perimenopause, menopause, postpartum recovery, and more.
Grounded deeply in faith and family, Janelle is the wife to Le-Roy Battle III, proud daughter of Vincent and Joy Briscoe and granddaughter of Vince and Joan Briscoe and Matthew and Darlene Gallshaw. She cherishes her roles as a sister, godmother, and friend — identities that shape her belief that leadership is relational at its core. Often described as grace personified, Janelle carries both strength and compassion into every space she enters.
